Raymond Childers pulled into the Butternut Bakery Thrift Store on south U.S. 25 Tuesday morning and found the store closed and empty. He said he knew one of the bakery stores had closed but he thought it was the one in Corbin. He said he used to buy bread, rolls, and snacks at the store.
