June 29- Two blood drives in London

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Area residents are invited to be life savers at upcoming Kentucky Blood Center blood drives in London on Saturday, June 29.

On June 29, a drive will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 136 Keavy Road.

On June 29, a drive will also be held 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Regency Cinema 8 at 1868 Hwy. 192W.

Blood donors must have a photo I.D., be 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health and meet additional health requirements.  Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org.
