LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Sponsored by the City of London, Red White & Boom will bring back many crowd favorites to the annual Independence Day celebration. According to Sharon Benge, coordinator, the event will feature inflatables, games, contests and food.
The popularity of last year’s musical headliner, Good Vibrations, is also back by popular demand.
“This is a tribute band who traveled with the Beach Boys,” Benge said. “Everyone seemed to like them so well last year that we asked them back again this year.”
“The Bones Bike,” also known as “The Last Ride” motorcycle, designed by Somerset resident Jerry Wayne Dixon, will be on display from 5-8 p.m. Good Vibrations is set to rock the crowd around 8 p.m., followed by the annual fireworks display at dusk.
“Everyone can rest assured that Red White & Boom will be a great event you won’t want to miss,” she said.
