LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

The annual Veterans’ Parade will be held in downtown London, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 beginning with a prayer and pledge in front of the Laurel County Courthouse at noon.

The parade lineup will be in the North Main Street Kroger parking lot, with veterans from all wars marching through downtown London.

“We will provide a trailer for disabled veterans and transportation from the courthouse to Kroger for the parade lineup,” said Laurel County Judge Executive David Westerfield.

Veterans from all wars in all eras are urged to make plans to participate in the parade and ceremonies in this annual honor of our military. Any groups wishing to participate in the event should contact Westerfield at 864-4640 or Theresa Price at 231-8297.
