June 1- Fishing tourney for kids at 4-H Camp

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — The Laurel-London Optimist Club will have their annual kids fishing tournament for children ages 6 to 12 years. The event will be held on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the J.M. Feltner 4-H Camp, located on Ky. 229.

Bring your own fishing gear and bait. Lunch will be served and there will be lots of prizes given away. Trophies will also be presented to the winners.

Everything is free, so come out and join in the fun.

Now that school is out, what are your family’s summer vacation plans?

A. No major plans. We will probably hang out around Laurel County.
B. Going to the beach!
C. Kentucky has a lot of wonderful state parks, and we plan to visit a few and enjoy quality family time.
