May 11- Maternity fair at Saint Joseph London

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Lectures from experts, displays, samples, door prizes and more await at the annual Maternity Fair presented by Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, on Saturday, May 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

The hospital partners with the Southern Kentucky Area Health Education Center to offer this event for expecting mothers, those who recently delivered a baby or those who are planning a pregnancy in the future.  Giveaway items will be provided by various vendors and prizes will be drawn at 12:30 p.m.  One lucky attendee will win the grand prize – a $500 Babies R Us gift card provided by KentuckyOne Health.  

This year’s event will feature a Kentucky Derby theme including a Hat Contest.  Prizes will be awarded for hats with the Best Derby Theme, Craziest and Most Original.  Tours of the Birthing Center will be offered and a Diaper Derby is also scheduled.

All activities will take place at Saint Joseph London at 1001 Saint Joseph Lane (off Interstate 75 – Exit 38).  Registration for the event is free and available at SaintJosephLondon.org.  For more information or to register by phone, call 606-330-6009.
