July 16- Get ‘Hooked on Fishing’ at Heritage Pond

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Youth ages 5 and older are invited to the Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs event at Heritage Hills in London on Tuesday, July 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  

During this program, youth will learn all the skills necessary to fish safely, adopt fishing as a wholesome pastime, be empowered to develop positive lifestyles and gain new confidence. Children will be divided into three age groups: 5-8, 9-12 and 13 and up. Prizes will be given in each age group for the most fish caught and the biggest fish caught.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Parents, older siblings and anyone who likes to fish are encouraged to participate.
