April 26- Laurel Life Center 5K

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

The Laurel County Life Center will host the Walk for Life on Saturday, April 26 at the Levi Jackson State Park, by the clubhouse.  This year’s fundraiser will also include a separate 5K run/walk as well as children’s fun activities including face painting and balloons.

Registration for the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and the run will begin at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $25.

The Walk for Life registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:30 a.m.  As with past Walk for Life events, those participating will find sponsors to help them raise money.  The Life Center will collect pledges through the mail.  Anyone who can raise $100 or more in pledges will receive a T-shirt.
