Oct. 12 - Johnson 5K & Chili Supper


Johnson Elementary PTO will be hosting the Johnson Soaring Eagle 5K and Chili Supper on October 12. The run will take place on North Laurel High Schools Cross Country course, with a one-mile Fun Run option available for elementary students.

An award will be given away to the elementary school with the highest participation and top three male and female runners in all age divisions. The adult cost is $25 and includes a run and chili supper. Elementary students have the option of competing in 5K or Fun Run for $10, which also includes the chili supper.

All runners pre-registered by September 23 at midnight will receive a T-shirt with registration. All Fun Run finishers will also receive participant ribbons.

A. No major plans. We will probably hang out around Laurel County.
B. Going to the beach!
C. Kentucky has a lot of wonderful state parks, and we plan to visit a few and enjoy quality family time.
