Aug. 18- Homecoming Heritage Banquet

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

The Laurel County Homecoming Heritage Honorees Banquet will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18 at noon at the Levi Jackson Park Clubhouse.

Tickets are $15 per person. The event is being catered by Hawg Heaven and will include roast beef, grilled chicken, pulled pork, yeast roll, red potatoes, green beans, seven-layer salad, tea or lemonade, and a variety of desserts.

This year’s honorees are Shirley McCowan, long -time volunteer with the local historical society; Dr. Georgia B. Miller, educator and businesswoman; and Laurel County family-owned business, Benge Farm Supply, which will celebrate their 75th anniversary this year.
