April 21-25 - Free dumping at Laurel Ridge Landfill

Commonwealth Cleanup week is Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25. During this week, Laurel County residents can take their garbage to the Laurel Ridge Landfill free of charge.

Accepted items included unwanted household items such as mattresses, appliances, and furniture as well as garbage. Unaccepted items include tires and oil.

Residents must show their identification — usually a driver’s license — to prove they live in Laurel County upon entering the landfill.

This event is sponsored by Laurel County Solid Waste and PRIDE.
