Shoplifters arrested at Walmart


Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott along with Deputy Milton Storm arrested two subjects at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9:25 p.m. after they were detained by Walmart's Loss Prevention Team.

Whitney A. Inman, 20, and Collin D. Oaks, 21, of Snuffy Reynolds Road, Williamsburg, were arrested and charged with shoplifting. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Allegedly, the two shoplifted air fresheners, seat covers, and scissors, and items from the infants section and other items concealing them in Inman’s purse.
