Two arrested during drug investigation in East Bernstadt

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective Jason Back, and Deputy James Sizemore conducted a drug investigation in East Bernstadt which resulted in a search warrant being executed at a residence on Litton Town Road, four miles north of London, on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m., two arrests, and crystal methamphetamine and U.S. currency being seized.

Tommy Miller, 59, of Litton Town Road, East Bernstadt was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine); and first-degree possession of a controlled substance,first offense (methamphetamine). Miller allegedly sold methamphetamine on two occasions, and methamphetamine was found at his residence during the execution of a search warrant.

Tiffany Thompson, 23, of Ky. 490, East Bernstadt was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine). Thompson was at the location where a search warrant for drugs was executed, and methamphetamine was found. A third person was also arrested on unrelated bench warrants. All subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Deputies assisting at the scene included Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Robbie Grimes, and Deputy Larry Parrott.
