LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — The week for Laurel County Sheriff’s officials began and ended with a raid on Fire Station Road, three miles north of London.

On Friday, 21-year-old Frankie L. Doan, of 210 Chappell Road in Pittsburg, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana, less than 8 ounces, first offense; and third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense. Sheriff’s officials had received numerous complaints of drug dealing at the residence. Doan was allegedly selling pills out of his home. When deputies arrived on the scene, he tried to flush several pills down a non-functioning toilet. Three bags of marijuana, already packaged for re-sell, and a large amount of money were in Doan’s possession.

While Doan was waiting in the deputy’s vehicle outside the residence, a search of the premises led to the arrest of a second person in the home.

Allyson Setser, 18, of 326 Sunshine Hill Road in London, was arrested and charged with third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, after deputies located drugs in her possession.

“This is the second time we’ve been here this week,” said Sheriff John Root. “And we’ve found drugs both times.”

Sheriff’s officials went to the same residence last Monday, where they arrested 33-year-old Michael Smith. Smith was in possession of 13 Oxycodone, 298 Xanax and another unnamed prescription pill. A large amount of cash was also found at the residence.

The investigation was conducted by Detective Jason Back, who was assisted by Sheriff John Root, Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, Sgt. Phil Barnard, Deputy Larry Parrott, and Deputy Gilbert Acciardo.
