LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Turner received a 9-1-1 complaint that a vehicle had wrecked on Tuttle Road, 13 miles south of London, on Thursday at 5:55 p.m.
William P. Ledford, 41, of Gordon Hill Park, Corbin, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense.
When Deputy Turner arrived at the scene, he noted a black Toyota 4-door had ran off the roadway and struck a fence. An investigation conducted determined the driver, Ledford, was under the influence.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
