LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
When police officers respond to a complaint, they never know what they may find when they arrive.
Such was the case on Saturday night when Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Josh Scott and Kirk Mays answered the call of a domestic dispute around 12:50 a.m. Saturday at Villagewood Court, six miles south of London.
While conducting their investigation, deputies discovered the man involved in the alleged domestic dispute, 55-year-old Joseph A. Richards, had outstanding warrants.
Richards was arrested on the warrants that included leaving the scene of an accident, operating on a suspended operator's license and failure to maintain required insurance. He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center following his arrest.
