LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
An Irvine, Ky. woman was arrested in downtown London Tuesday night because police found she was intoxicated.
Evangeline Lee, 27, of 1075 Rice Station Road, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
The London Police Department arrived in the parking lot behind Weaver’s Hot Dogs to discover Lee behind the wheel in her vehicle. An employee of the restaurant called police. Officer Jacob Bormann gave Lee a sobriety test and she failed. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
