Parole violator apprehended

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A woman who violated her parole conditions was arrested Tuesday, June 25, and had three other offenses added to her rap sheet.

Merinda K. Robinson, 33, of Swiss Colony Lane in London, was taken into custody just before 2 p.m. by Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy James Sizemore and officers with the Probation and Parole Office. Robinson was located and arrested four miles north of London on U.S. 25. She was wanted for violating her parole conditions, as well as three bench warrants including failure to appear in court on charges of non-support and flagrant non-support. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center after her arrest.
