Two arrested for DUI over weekend

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff's Deputy Kirk Mays made two unrelated arrests for DUI this weekend.

Late Friday night on Interstate 75 in London, Mays arrested Kenneth Thompson, 26, of Feltner Street in London, charging him with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, disregarding a stop sign, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

He was lodged in the Laurel County  Detention Center.

In an unrelated arrest, Mays arrested a woman early Saturday morning on south U.S. 25 near Corbin. Jessica Nicole Ginn, 32, of West Laurel Road in London was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle on a DUI suspended license.

She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
