Woman sentenced for abusing children

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — No contact with the children and an anger management program is just part of the sentence imposed on a Laurel woman accused of abusing and endangering four young  children.

 Kimberly D. Feller, 26, of 75 Green Meadow Road in London must enroll in a court-appointed programs including anger management classes as part of a diversion agreement. Feller was indicted in September for four counts of first-degree criminal abuse and two counts of fourth-degree assault against four children ranging between the ages of 2 and a half to 8 years old during July 2012.

As part of her sentencing, she is allowed no contact with the children involved in the case, and has a five-year sentence that is diverted for a 10-year period. She received a 12-month sentence that was probated for 24 months for allegedly throwing a chair at and causing injury to a four-year-old child.
