Woman injured in motorcycle crash

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A practice run on a motorcycle went wrong and sent a Laurel woman to the hospital for injuries.

According to the press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Donna Eby of Old Whitley Road in London, was practicing operating a Harley-Davidson Trike Conversion on Ky. 1006 around 6:19 p.m. when she lost control. The motorcycle went into a sideways skid, hit a curb and flipped over. Eby received head and arm injuries and was taken to Saint Joseph London hospital by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.

A passenger on the bike, 48-year-old Randy Eby, was not injured in the crash. The motorcycle received extensive damage from the crash.
