DUI arrest on Pine Top Road

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Berry along with Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter were dispatched to multiple complaints of a possible intoxicated driver on Pine Top Road, three miles west of London, on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:57 p.m.

Darrell D. House, 46, of Bluegrass Road, East Bernstadt, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second offense; driving on a DUI suspended license, first offense; failure of owner to maintain required insurance; no registration plates; and numerous other traffic violations.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located House in a dark-colored Pontiac GranPrix with the motor running. House was very unsteady on his feet.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
