LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Josh Scott and Shawn Boroviak answered the call of a party on Tom Cat Trail around 3 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, that possibly involved intoxicated underage persons. On arrival to the residence, they found no such incident. However, during a road check by Kentucky State Police and sheriff’s officials, a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Kendra L. Davidson of Carson Lane in East Bernstadt was located in the vicinity.
As officers approached the vehicle, Davidson ran away on foot and was arrested after a scuffle with the officers. She was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle prohibited, second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot and resisting arrest.
Davidson was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center following her arrest.
