Woman arrested on bench warrant

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Although she missed her court dates, a London woman turned herself in to authorities last Thursday and is now facing her charges.

Crystal Howard, 22, of Reams Lane, went to the Laurel County Judicial Center that morning and was officially charged on an outstanding warrant for several traffic violations by Laurel County Sheriff’s Bailiff Brandon Broughton. The warrant originated for her failure to appear for her previous court date. Howard was taken to the sheriff’s office where she was officially charged, then taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
