LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
An investigation into a man who reportedly violated his parole ended with additional charges for trafficking in drugs.
Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy James Sizemore was called to assist members of the Probation and Parole to apprehend 21-year-old Dustin Williams on a parole violation. When officers arrived at the residence on Ward Cemetery Road in Keavy around 11 a.m. Tuesday, they found Williams with a bottle of Hydrocodone pills. Since the prescription indicated that the prescription for 60 pills was filled on June 17 and Williams only had 11 pills remaining, he was charged with second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense. Williams was taken to the Laurel Detention Center following his arrest.
