Arrests made at Judicial Center


Four people were arrested at the Laurel County Judicial Center on Monday, on a variety of charges.

The first arrest came at 10:30 by Bailiff Kenton Sharf and Bailiff Andrew Lawson placing 21-year-old Travis Crawford Parsons of London for a domestic violence forthwith order of arrest.

A half hour later, the two bailiffs arrested 24-year-old Carrie Price of Gray for a failure to appear in court on alcohol intoxication and contempt of court.

At 12:20 p.m., 37-year-old David Eugene Tallant of East Bernstadt was arrested by the same two bailiffs, charging him with a Laurel County  bench warrant for contempt of court.

Daniel P. Leonard, 24, of London, was the final arrest on Monday. Leonard was arrested around 1:10 p.m., charged with a Laurel Circuit Court bench warrant for theft by unlawful taking.
