Woman arrested for trespassing

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A Lily woman was jailed after she was trespassing on private property and refused to leave.

Despite being asked by the property owner on Rose Lane to leave several times, 54-year-old Tammy Cole refused to go on her way. When Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Shane Rice and Kevin Berry went to the scene, eight miles south of London, they found Cole. When deputies tried to make her leave, Cole began to scuffle with them to avoid being arrested.

Cole now faces charges of third-degree criminal trespassing and resisting arrest. She was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center following her arrest.
