Man damages vehicle

A vandalized vehicle resulted in the arrest of a London man who admitted to the act.

Dylan W. Gregory, 19, of London, reportedly told police he had kicked the door of a woman’s vehicle that was parked in a business parking lot, one mile south of London, around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott and Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter went to the scene and interviewed Gregory, who admitted kicking the door and writing an obscene word on the vehicle. The vehicle had moderate damage to the right door.

Gregory was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting in the investigation was Deputy Mikey Ashurst.
