Shoplifter hides merchandise in coat

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy  Larry Parrott arrested Earnest A. McIntyre, 50, of Ky. Route 6, Gray, charging him with shoplifting on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 3:34 p.m.

He was arrested at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart’s Loss Prevention Team allegedly observed McIntrye concealing items under his coat and proceeding out of the store. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

The day prior, Deputy Parrott arrested another shoplifter at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County. Traci L. Dooley, 48, of Standau Road, London, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6:31 p.m. and charged with shoplifting after Walmart’s Loss Prevention Team detained Dooley. Apparently, Dooley was observed shoplifting several items in the store, going through self check out and not paying for those items. Dooley was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
