Two arrested on Bethel Hill Road

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Laurel County Sheriff’s Capt. Rodney Van Zant and Lt.. Chuck Johnson arrested two individuals on Bethel Hill Road, approximately five miles north of London, Monday, Jan. 13, at 2:30 p.m. following an attempt to service an arrest warrant on an individual believed to be at that location.

Deputies encountered a female at that residence who  told deputies the subject was not there. The subject was located hiding in the bedroom of the residence.

Jeremy Robinson, 33, of Allen School Road, East Bernstadt, was arrested and charged on an outstanding Laurel County warrant for failure to appear in court, flagrant non -support. Also arrested at the scene was Shannon Saylor, 33, of Bethel Hill Road, East Bernstadt. She was charged with second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.  Saylor lied to deputies in an attempt to conceal Robinson at her residence. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
