Corbin man gives alcohol to minor

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A Corbin man is charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, stemming from an incident on Sunday night.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Milton Storm received a complaint that an adult male had allegedly given a 14-year-old female alcohol on Sunday night at a residence on U.S. 25, 10 miles south of London. When Storm arrived at the residence around 9:40 p.m., he arrested 18-year-old Andrew Teeguarden of West Fourth Street in Corbin and charged him with third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

The 14-year-old girl was released to her parents through workers with the Cabinet of Families and Children (social services).

Teeguarden was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center after his arrest.
