Intoxicated driver facing several charges

A drive along Brent Danielle Lane, four miles south of London, ended when a Laurel County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop that landed 27-year-old Aleshia Saylor in jail.

Deputy Shawn Boroviak made the traffic stop just before 11 p.m. Saturday after noticing a vehicle swerving from one lane to another and nearly wrecking several times. When Boroviak stopped the vehicle, he determined the driver — Saylor — was under the influence. Saylor was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and reckless driving.

She also had a bench warrant of arrest from Whitley County for failure to appear in court. She was lodged in the Laurel County jail after her arrest.
