Shoplifter wearing stolen jeans with security tag from another store

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott arrested Amy L. Potter, 32, of Corbin, charging her with shoplifting after loss prevention at Walmart in southern Laurel County reported she was detained in their store on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 7:03 p.m.

According to Deputy Parrott, Potter was wearing jeans that still had a security tag on them from another area store. The investigation is ongoing.

Potter was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
