Hinkle man arrested for DUI, reckless driving

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — The driver of a black Ford Ranger was all over the road on Monday, Dec. 17, according to a report by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Driver Timothy Smith, 48, of Ky. 1304, Hinkle, Ky., was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and reckless driving.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Kirk Mays was dispatched to a complaint of a pickup weaving all over the road on I-75  at 6:57 p.m.

Mays located the vehicle three miles north of London, observed and conducted a traffic stop. Smith was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
