Man arrested for domestic violence

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy James Sizemore was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint on O'Neal Road, three miles west of London, on Sunday, June 30 at approximately 12:10 p.m.

Christopher Hopkins, 34, of O'Neal Road, London, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and resisting arrest.

Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy Sizemore learned a male subject had allegedly smacked his father in the face, choked and shoved him.

Hopkins was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
