Traffic stop leads to DUI arrest


Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Boroviak arrested and Annette Alexander, 46, of Mt. Moriah Road, London, on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 11:45 p.m. on N. Main St. in London.

Deputy Boroviak conducted a traffic stop on a silver Mercury Sable that had been observed weaving on the roadway. A roadside investigation was conducted on the driver, Alexander, who was determined to be under the influence and was arrested. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, licensed to be in possession, failure to produce an insurance card, failure to wear seat belts, and reckless driving. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
