LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — When residents on Hanes Baker Road in southern Laurel County looked out their windows Friday night, they got a sight that was totally unexpected.

According to a press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Milton Storm received a call about three naked females standing in the roadway.

Storm, Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, and Deputy Robbie Grimes went to the scene, 10 miles south of London, where they spotted three girls outside the residence. Once the police cars arrived, the females went back inside, where police found a fourth female inside as well. The girls were all juveniles. All four had been drinking and had strewn alcohol throughout the home.

Glenn E. Adkins, 40, was also inside the home, but told deputies he had been asleep and was not aware the girls had been drinking. Regardless, Adkins was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, unlawful transaction with a minor, and second-degree wanton endangerment. He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center and is held on a $10,000 cash bond.

The four juveniles were cited to appear in juvenile court and were released to their parents, who were called to come pick up their child. The Court Designated Worker (CDW) was called to assist with processing the juveniles.
