Meth ring busted

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Roberts is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; unlawful distribution of a meth precursor, first offense; and engaging in organized crime. He had needles in his possession and he too had purchased cold tablets on January 15 — the day before the arrest. His bond is set at a $10,000 cash.

All five are scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Laurel District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 21. All five remained incarcerated in the Laurel County Detention Center as of late Friday afternoon.
