The contents of pills inside a large baggie resembled a rainbow with their colors of blue, pink, white, and yellow, varying in size and shape, but all prescription pills.

That was what Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy James Sizemore and officers with the Kentucky Probation and Parole found when they visited a residence on Old Crab Orchard Road on Thursday afternoon.

Accompanying the pills was a large amount of cash, which constituted several trafficking charges against 53-year-old Rachel Jones.

The Victory Street resident of East Bernstadt was arrested for third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. The pills confiscated are believed to include hydrocodone, oxycodone and Xanax.

Jones was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center  following her arrest. Assisting in the investigation and arrest were Detective Jason Back, Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy James Sizemore, and Kentucky Probation and Parole Officer Jeremy Steele.
