LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — The search for a person wanted for a parole violation ended with two people arrested.

Latasha L. Lynch, 22, of Echo Valley Road in Lily, was hiding under a bed in a bedroom of a residence on McClure Bridge Road, eight miles south of London, when Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Larry Parrott and Mikey Ashurst arrived on Sunday. Lynch was wanted on parole violation and a Laurel County bench warrant for third-degree burglary.

But when the officers went to the door of the home, a male subject, later identified as 36-year-old Christopher Blackwell, answered and said Lynch was not there. However, a search of the home disclosed her hiding place and a check on Blackwell revealed he was wanted on four bench warrants — two from Knox County, one from Kenton County and one from Laurel County.

Both subjects were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center following their arrests.
