Two arrested for public intoxication


Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies Tyler Morris and Mikey Ashurst arrested two individuals on Old Richmond Road, seven miles north of London, early Monday, March 10 at 1:34 a.m.

Deputies located the pair walking along the roadway apparently under the influence and conducted an investigation. Deputies determined they were under the influence.

Arrested was Theresa Hall, 24, of Kentucky Hollow Road, London, who was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances. The investigation revealed that she was apparently under the influence of methamphetamine.

Also arrested was Nikki Blankenship, 29, of Pine Top Road, London, who was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances. The subject advised deputies she had been smoking marijuana and allegedly had smoked methamphetamine earlier. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
