LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Two people were arrested at the Laurel County Judicial Center on Wednesday on unrelated charges.
Laurel County Sheriff’s Corporal Derrick Price arrested Teia J. Tuttle, 34, of Sim Smith Lane in London, at 10:45 a.m. Tuttle had a bench warrant for failing to appear in Laurel District Court. Jail records show that Tuttle was arrested on Dec. 1, 2012 for driving under the influence and failure to produce an insurance card. She was placed under a $2,500 surety bond and released from jail the following day.
Just 20 minutes later, 43-year-old Darrell Wayne Hall of Andrew Street in Corbin was arrested on a bench warrant for child support violations. Hall was arrested for flagrant non-support on March 2. He spent three days in the Laurel County Detention Center before posting $339 for fines on a bench warrant and a $50,000 surety on flagrant non-support charges.
Court Security Officer Larry Walls assisted in the first arrest; Bailiff Jason Bowden assisted in Hall’s arrest.
