Traffic stop leads to arrests

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Morris arrested two individuals on Campbell Road following a routine traffic stop, 12 miles south of London, early Friday, Oct. 4 at 3 a.m.

The driver was wanted on  three warrants out of Laurel  County, and one out of Knox County.

Sharon M. Frekey, 35, of Corbin was arrested and charged on bench warrants. Also arrested was the passenger—Terry R. Stephens, 41, of Corbin who was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
