Three arrested for pot plants

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Kentucky State Police in London discovered an illegal business enterprise at a Laurel County apartment complex, leading to three arrests in the early hours of Friday morning.

At approximately 2:13 a.m., KSP Post 11 received a complaint of possible drug activity in an apartment at the Arlington Green Apartment Complex off Ky. 80.

Upon arrival, Troopers discovered an indoor marijuana grow operation consisting of 17 plants, processed marijuana (ready for use), lighting made specifically for growing, fertilizer and other materials used in cultivation.

Trooper Mike King is leading the investigation and was assisted on scene by KSP Sgt. Steve Walker, Trooper Chris Saunders as well as Trooper Josh Cox. With their help, arrests were made on Dusty Wilson, 31, Rebecca Wilson, 33, and Jacob Roark, 22, all from London.

All three suspects were charged with the cultivation of marijuana, (five plants or more); possession of marijuana; as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

All 17 plants, along with all growing materials, were also confiscated from the apartment.
