Man arrested for driving on a DUI suspended license

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott, while on patrol, observed a suspicious vehicle on Waterworks Road, one mile west of London, on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7:08 p.m.

Anthony R. Saylor, 49, of Waterworks Road, London, was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license, first offense; no insurance; and a registration violation.

When Deputy Parrott attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, the green Jeep Rangler pulled into a private driveway and Saylor attempted to exit the vehicle. The property owners stated they did not know Saylor, and did not want him there. Deputy Parrott conducted an investigation and determined Saylor was driving on a DUI suspended license.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
