Stolen yellow Hummer found

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff's  Deputy Josh Scott recovered a stolen yellow Hummer on Monday, Nov. 4 at the end of Vaughn Ridge Road, eight miles west of London, after  deer hunters found the vehicle abandoned in the woods.

The Hummer was stolen when two intruders broke into a residence on Oneal Road, five miles west of London, and were burglarizing the home on Oct. 31. The homeowner returned to find two men wearing hoodies in his home and he fired at the suspects who were fleeing his residence in his vehicle.

Deputies are processing the vehicle for fingerprints and other evidence in and around the vehicle, and will be seeking suspects once that investigation is complete.

Deputy Shane Rice and Deputy Josh Scott are continuing the investigation.
