E.B. woman arrested for shoplifting

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — On Tuesday, London Police Officer Justin Hopkins responded to a shoplifting complaint from the Walmart Shopping Center on Ky. 192.  

Danielle Bowling, 30, of East Bernstadt was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count; and second-degree possession of a controlled substance, two counts.

As Officer Hopkins searched Bowling, he found $188.73 worth of merchandise.

He also found three different types of pills, a glass pipe, and a baggy containing a white crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.  The pills were identified as oxycodone, hydrocodone, and xanax.

Bowling was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
