LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Two thieves were nearly caught in the act, but managed to escape when a store owner arrived and scared them away.

Police are now seeking information on the two men who burglarized and robbed Corner Market on Ky. 830, 10 miles south of London, around 11:45 p.m. Monday night.
