Man causes drunken disturbance

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff's Deputy Larry Parrott, along with Deputies Robbie Grimes and Mikey Ashurs, were dispatched to a complaint that a man was causing a disturbance with his family on Wagers Road, seven miles south of London, on Saturday night at 7:40 p.m.

Brooks Wagers, 40, of Wagers Road, London, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place first-degree disorderly conduct.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned the subject had left the scene. Deputies located Wagers walking down the middle of the road and conducted an investigation determining that he was intoxicated. When he was arrested by deputies, he created another disturbance.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
