Keavy man arrested for domestic assault

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Laurel County Sheriff’s Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Robbie Grimes, and Deputy Greg Turner responded to a domestic violence complaint on Locust Grove Road, 13 miles south of London, in the Keavy community Thursday at 6:26 p.m.

Upon arrival, they learned Frank Bores, 47, had allegedly threatened and punched his wife. The press release stated that Bores’ wife had awakened him to eat and he became angry, punching her in the face and grabbing her by the arm. Deputies noted bruises on the woman’s arms and a red mark on her face.

Bores was charged with fourth-degree assault and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
